Whistler, BC

From Vancouver, we took a two hour drive up to Whistler. The drive was absolutely beautiful.
On our way we stopped at Shannon Falls.
Shannon Falls is the 3rd highest falls in BC, rising over 1100 feet.
When we arrived in Whister, we walked through the snowy village before heading up the mountain on the Whistler Gondola.
Once up the mountain, we went inside the lodge to warm up with a cup of cocoa. Matilda passed on the cocoa and ate a few cheerios.
Next we boarded the Peak 2 Peak Gondola which is the highest lift of its kind at 1,340 feet above the valley floor. It is also the longest unsupported span of 9,921 feet...the longest continuous lift system on the globe.
Matilda had a blast and enjoyed the amazing views.
That night we wondered through the village and stopped to watch the fire and ice snowboarding show. Pretty cool!
The next morning we enjoyed the most delicious cinnamon rolls.

Where's my food?
